Pan Caramel/Chocolate/Nut treats: In a pan on the stove, boil 2 sticks of butter, 1 cup brown sugar until it is frothy and glossy (about 5 min). Meanwhile in a cookie sheet - cover with tin foil - arrange squares of saltine crackers tightly until covered from side to side. Pour boiling mix over crackers and spread evenly. Bake 350 degrees for 8 min. Take out and drop 1 bag chocolate chips evenly over all. Wait a few min. then spread the melted chips out evenly covering side to side. They take chopped walnuts and spread over soft chocolate. Let cool a bit, then put in refrigerator until hard. Take out and peel off the tin foil and break the rest into pieces. Devour.
